This beautiful gun and knife set is being built by Lone Wolf Knives and Native American artist David Yellowhorse to commemorate the Navajo “Buffalo Hunters”.  These hunters played a extremely important role in Native American life as they were relied upon to provide their key food staple and source of materials for clothing and tools.     

          The knife in this set is a traditional Lone Wolf “Native” skinning knife.  The blade is 3.75 inches long forged from high carbon stainless steel, beveled, heat treated, tempered and then fitted with a stainless steel guard.  David stipples the blade to give it a chipped-stone look, polishes it and finally adds his signature and logo to add to the sets collectible value.  He then inlays the handles with blue turquoise, bloody basin jasper, sterling silver, leopard stone jasper and black jet stone.  After these channel inlays are applied to the handle he inlays a sterling silver buffalo image into the leopard jasper in the middle of the handle.  The handle of each knife is then polished to a high luster to enhance the natural beauty of the stone, silver and hand inlaid buffalo image.  

          The revolver is a 45 caliber stainless steel Ruger Vaquero, a modern version of the traditional single action pistol.  This is a fully functional working firearm and expertly engineered pistol.  It is built from highly polished stainless steel and features the most modern internal safety and performance engineering while maintaining the rich traditional look of the gun that won the west.  It has a 5 ½ inch barrel and weighs 43 ounces.  The frame of each pistol is stippled by hand and then polished to a mirror finish.  David marks each gun with his logo and signature.  The grip area is channel inlaid with sterling silver, leopard stone jasper, bloody basin jasper, black jet stone, blue turquoise and inlaid with the image of a buffalo and an arrowhead.  Only 50 of these exclusive and beautiful knife & gun sets will be built and they will be sequentially numbered from 01 to 50.  Serial number allocation is done on a first come first serve basis so place your orders for this fine set immediately. Jerry Corbit started out making custom knives back in the 90's. He said this beautiful fixed blade hunter was made by him in 1994 or 1995. As most artists he learned as he went and started off simple but still impecably crafted his pieces. This fixed blade if fileworked all the way around and has a beautiful Stag grip that conforms sweetly to your hand along with a very nicely crafted slip in sheath.  Jerry is now making VERY high end folders and Autos. Being a very early piece and being unusual because it's a fixed blade it's hard to put a value on it but we'll try. Some Corbit Collector might get a real steal.

The "SHARK" is a new California legal design by Famous Custom knife maker Wayne Clark. It a bit different than most California legal automatic knives in that the handle is larger and more user friendly. The blade is also thicker at the base with a slight belly making it a very useful, powerful and strurdy design. It has a VERY fast action and a pocket clip designed for tip up carry. Overall length is just over 5 inches with the scales being 4.75 inches long. All in all a very attractive item.
