The new Lone Wolf U.S.45 tactical folding knife was designed to complement the classic design of the 1911 U.S. 45 ACP pistol. The grip is styled like a 45 ACP semi-automatic pistol and provides that feel you will instantly recognize along with its clean good looks. The handle is checkered rosewood with the classic U.S. symbol incorporated into its design. Like the classic 45 ACP pistol, this rugged knife will stand up to whatever you throw at it. The Harsey D2 double-action automatic was designed to be the ultimate extreme-use automatic knife for military, police and civilian use. Lone Wolf Knives took the great Harsey T2 Tactical knife design and incorporated an innovative hidden lock release mechanism to make the knife a double action automatic. This new mechanism is sealed inside the handle to provide reliability and stealth keeping the fact that the knife is an automatic a secret with no apparent activation buttons on the handle. The knife functions as a locking liner knife just like a normal Harsey T2 and when the hidden release is activated by pushing on the over-molded non-slip handle material in the correct spot the automatic feature fires the blade out automatically. The spring that fires the blade is very robust providing reliable and aggressive automatic spring force. The D2 double-action automatic provides the best of both worlds by working as a tough-as-nails one handed opening tactical knife or a lightning-fast automatic when this feature is activated. The frame and locking liner are built from stainless steel providing a tough and reliable automatic action. The attachment clip is stainless steel.

The blade shape is a classic “Drop-Point” that is fully beveled for superior tip-strength making it useful for a multitude of field tasks. There is a 1 inch serrated section on the blade to allow easy cutting of rope and tough rubberized materials. Blade material is the new CPM-S30V high-carbon “Super” stainless steel that is precision heat treated, tempered and sub-zero quenched to achieve maximum edge retention, flexibility and corrosion resistance. This beautiful gun and knife set is being built by Lone Wolf Knives and Native American artist David Yellowhorse to commemorate the Navajo “Buffalo Hunters”.  These hunters played a extremely important role in Native American life as they were relied upon to provide their key food staple and source of materials for clothing and tools.     

          The knife in this set is a traditional Lone Wolf “Native” skinning knife.  The blade is 3.75 inches long forged from high carbon stainless steel, beveled, heat treated, tempered and then fitted with a stainless steel guard.  David stipples the blade to give it a chipped-stone look, polishes it and finally adds his signature and logo to add to the sets collectible value.  He then inlays the handles with blue turquoise, bloody basin jasper, sterling silver, leopard stone jasper and black jet stone.  After these channel inlays are applied to the handle he inlays a sterling silver buffalo image into the leopard jasper in the middle of the handle.  The handle of each knife is then polished to a high luster to enhance the natural beauty of the stone, silver and hand inlaid buffalo image.  

          The revolver is a 45 caliber stainless steel Ruger Vaquero, a modern version of the traditional single action pistol.  This is a fully functional working firearm and expertly engineered pistol.  It is built from highly polished stainless steel and features the most modern internal safety and performance engineering while maintaining the rich traditional look of the gun that won the west.  It has a 5 ½ inch barrel and weighs 43 ounces.  The frame of each pistol is stippled by hand and then polished to a mirror finish.  David marks each gun with his logo and signature.  The grip area is channel inlaid with sterling silver, leopard stone jasper, bloody basin jasper, black jet stone, blue turquoise and inlaid with the image of a buffalo and an arrowhead.  Only 50 of these exclusive and beautiful knife & gun sets will be built and they will be sequentially numbered from 01 to 50.  Serial number allocation is done on a first come first serve basis so place your orders for this fine set immediately.
