The Runt 2 is the smallest and highest quality 2 inch blade on the market. The blade is .110 inches thick and made of 154-CM High Carbon Stainless Steel which is heat treated to RC 58-59. The 3 inch handle is .43 inches thick. All our production handles are made of T6 6061 aluminum and our custom handles are made of 6al4V titanium. The mechanism is a constant torsion coil spring.  (?)

Talk about a collectible knife! As pictured this beauty comes in a form fitted gift tin with a picture of Al Buck in earlier years. Inside the tin you'll find a brass plaque with the history of Al Buck and his design of the famous Buck 110, the most copied knife in history. There is also a leather belt pouch under the form fitted display for anybody that might want to actually carry this piece but it had better be a pretty special occassion!

This new front opener from Piranha is 100% CNC machined here in the USA. The frame is machined from billets of 6061 T-6 aircraft grade aluminum and the 3.2 inch 154CM mirror polished blade is heat treated to RC 59. The pocket clip is Titanium and designed for tip up carry. There are alot of quality features in this knife that are either not available or expensive options on other high end front openers and our first impression is very good. The knife fires HARD. The mirror blade adds to the look of quality and it locks up as well as any other high end front opener. Fit and finish are also very good. It looks to be on a par with the venerable and largely unavailable Desert Knife Works Sandshark but is slightly smaller and considerable less expensive.
