This knife is intended as a handy pocket blade for most utility and tactical jobs. An ambidextrous slide safety makes it a safe-to-carry knife. With the safety on, the release button is inoperative with the blade in both open or closed position adding the extra benefit of a double locked blade in the open position for rock solid performance..

The Speedlock 3000 was designed by Dietmar Pohl and many of Dietmars characteristic lines are evident. Made in SOLINGEN Germany. Most important, it is designed for function and comfort. These versions knives have 4034 steel and a matte finish aluminium handle.The Speed lock has an innovatively design aluminum handle with a stylish insert for good looks and recurved blade and has been lovingly converted from it's more common manual version into this fully automatic version. A built in safety on top of the handle protects the user from accidental opening. Overall length 7.9" . Blade length 3.35". Weight 4.5oz. These SWATS were VERY popular and then about 2 years ago they just disappeared. Now they are back and we've got them. They come in either silver body with black inserts and a satin finished silver honed blade or black body, black inserts and a black serrated blade. The 440C Blade is 3.25 inches long and the overall length of the knife is 7.25 inches open and 4 inches closed with a handy pocket clip that is removable.
